Dr. Paul Stumpf
Dr. Paul Stumpf grew up in the greater San Bernardino area and has lived in the Inland Empire all of his life. His goal in High School was not to be there, and he accomplished it with tremendous success. While at work as a bowling alley coffee shop dishwasher, Paul worked with a Spirit-filled man who, through his joy, peace, and life displayed to him a fresh look at what it meant to be a Christian. So, in the steam and the muck of the dish-room, Paul accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Over the many years since then, Paul has gone on to obtain a B.A. in Communication studies from California State University San Bernardino, a M.A. in Pastoral Studies from the International School of Theology, and a Doctorate from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has been married to Dr. Amy Stumpf since 1995. She is currently a professor at California Baptist University in the Faculty of Religion. She is an expert in Ethics, World Religions, Current Events, and Social Policy. Together, they have they have two kids and four dogs.
Pastor Paul has seen God take a young man who had no ambition, no drive, and no hope, to being a man filled with dreams, loves to set goals for the church and is very encouraged when he sees people “get it” spiritually. He loves to help people grow in their leadership skills and abilities.
